You choose what you share.
How this Consumer Magazine-sponsored site handles learning tools, forms, media, and free sharing. Effective October 18, 2026.
Learning tools stay in your page.
The net-worth calculator and five-family example run in your browser. Their numbers are not saved or sent as survey answers. We do not collect official SCF interview responses.
Requests and image entries.
Forms save the details you provide: name, email, optional organization, message, request type, consent, and time. Offers include an amount. Image entries include the file and permission statement. We use this information to review and respond. Form details are not public. We do not add you to a newsletter or sell your contact details through these forms.
Free sharing credit is public.
Your optional public name, organization, website, and selected page are encoded in your reusable link. The sharing studio creates it in your browser without a database. Anyone with it can see that credit. Do not include private information. Credit is user-provided, not proof of partner status.
Session storage remembers sharing credit as a visitor browses in the same tab. Dismissing it or closing the tab clears that local memory.
The Money Room.
A file chosen from your own device plays locally. It is not uploaded to us. A visitor's YouTube link is not added to the publisher's library. When you choose to load YouTube, that service receives your visit and applies its own terms and privacy practices.
The publisher can add lessons to the website’s media catalog when updating the site. There is no publisher login in this edition. Publish only media you have the right to use.
Google Analytics.
We use Google Analytics to learn which pages help readers. Google receives visit and device information and may use cookies to recognize a browser. We configure page and referrer URLs without query strings or fragments. The tag does not load on the publisher inbox, publisher tools, private campaign previews, or campaign payment-return page. We do not send simulator inputs, private form messages, names, or email addresses as custom Analytics events. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our tag configuration. Read Google’s Privacy Policy for how Google handles information.
Service and security records.
Netlify hosts this edition and handles submitted forms, including image entries. It may keep technical request records and spam checks under its own policies. Form records remain in the publisher’s Netlify account for review until removed. The website does not show them publicly.
Ask for a change or removal.
Email Chris@Consumer.info with your request reference or share link. We may need to confirm you control the request. Do not send card numbers, passwords, or private survey records.
Free files and source data.
You may use and share our free published-summary table with credit to Consumer.info / NDS and the Federal Reserve source. Keep the source, period, units, group labels, and limits attached. Do not imply our endorsement. Official files retain their own terms; the free federal data are not an exclusive NDS dataset.
Branding campaigns and directory listings.
The live branding preview runs in your browser. Sending a campaign request sends your business details, contact name, and email to the publisher through Netlify Forms for review. It does not publish a services page, add a directory listing, reserve placement, or charge a card. Your contact details are not displayed publicly.
The proposed $100 one-time AdvertisingAgency.us campaign includes a branded simulator page, services summary, share link, and labeled directory listing for the lifetime of this edition. Paid activation is closed in this upload edition. Terms, payment, and publication must be confirmed before a campaign launches. Payment does not verify professional credentials, and sponsorship does not change survey findings.
Paid packs and offers.
No paid research pack is on sale in this edition. A future release will show its price, license, refund, and delivery terms before Stripe checkout opens. A website acquisition offer is non-binding and does not reserve or transfer assets.
Our role.
Sponsored by Consumer Magazine and published by Consumer.info + NDS, this is an independent educational publication. It is not the Federal Reserve or NORC participant portal. Learning examples are not a personal financial plan.
